Northern New Mexico Diary
by John Hazeltine
On May 1, 1997 John and Barbara Hazeltine arrived in Santa Fe, New Mexico for several days of touring museums and meeting with art dealers. Santa Fe is one of the favorite visiting places for the Hazeltines due to its stature in the American arts community. Depending on who you listen to, Santa Fe is often noted as the 2nd or 3rd most significant art center in the United States behind New York City and the San Francisco Bay Area. One thing most art lovers agree on though is the ambience: it's truly unique.
John and Barbara shared with Resource Library Magazine some of the highlights and photos from their trip so that readers planning a trip to Northern New Mexico might consider stopping by some of the places mentioned.
