Southern Women Artists: The museum is pleased to honor the contributions that women artists have made to the history and culture of the South by recognizing some of their accomplishments. The selections from the permanent collection will be on exhibit through August, 1997. Southern women artists are featured from the Civil War period through the 1960's. This small exhibition is a "work in progress," preparatory to a future, larger, exhibition of Southern women artists which will be organized in the museum.

Morris Museum of Art is located at One 10th St., Augusta, GA 30901
